Common Questions
Does DoodleStroodle work offline?
Yes — fully offline.Once you've downloaded the app, no internet connection is needed. Perfect for car rides, airplanes, waiting rooms, and anywhere else kids get restless.
Do you collect any data from my child?
No. Zero data collection.DoodleStroodle is fully COPPA-compliant and designed with your child's privacy as the top priority. Learn more on our Privacy Policy page.
What age range is this for?
DoodleStroodle is designed for children ages 4–8. The sweet spot is kids who are starting to recognize letters and words — usually 5–7 year olds — but younger and older kids enjoy it too.
Does the app have ads or in-app purchases?
No to both. DoodleStroodle is completely free and ad-free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no upgrade prompts, and no sponsored content. Your child plays in peace.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. The app is universal — it looks great on both phones and tablets, and works in portrait or landscape.
How do I reset progress for a different child?
Open DoodleStroodle → Settings → “Reset Progress” (behind the parent gate). This clears all stickers and unlocks so a sibling can start fresh. Only the device this action runs on is affected.
Is there a version for Android?
Not yet — we're focused on making DoodleStroodle excellent on iOS first. If we hear enough interest, Android is next. Email us to add your vote!
Can schools or classrooms use DoodleStroodle?
Absolutely — the app is a great fit for preschool and early-elementary classrooms. It's free, ad-free, and collects no data, so it works well under school privacy policies. Educators: feel free to email us with classroom feedback.
